The first complete welding concept based on scientific evidence.

The WeldOne ™ concept is the chairside technique for intra-oral welding by DENTSPLY Implants, which responds to a need of an increasing number of dentists: to keep all the steps of implant-prosthetic rehabilitation within their own practice.

The principle used is that one of electric resistance welding: in a few milliseconds the current flow melts the titanium at the contact point between the bar and the abutments, without the patient perceiving any temperature variation.

• to construct immediate temporary prostheses supported by implants;
• safety and predictability in the event of immediate loading, minimizing the risk of failure during the healing phase;
• lower risk of fractures in temporary solutions: durable prostheses reinforced thanks to the titanium structure;
• liabilities of the structures, always obtainable as they are built directly in the mouth;
• significant reduction of treatment times and costs.

These are the main advantages: times, costs, precision, quality, simply unbeatable. Obviously, it requires a minimum of manual skills and specific training courses.
In these ten years of studies and research we have already published 13 articles on peer reviewed journals, which address every clinical and instrumental aspect of the method.
In addition to the many advantages of this method, what I love the most, is that this method reflects the soul of the true dentist: to take pleasure from the work of your hands and be proud of it.
