PROGRAMME
DAY 1 – The Essentials of Immediate Loading
This session focuses on two core aspects:
• Introduction to the new app developed by Dr. Degidi & team, leveraging Artificial Intelligenceto surpass the limitations of
traditional methods in measuring primary stability, offering cliniciansthe most reliable evaluation of an implant’s loadability.
• The use of an intra-oral electric welder to build titanium frameworks for immediate prostheses.
Primary Stability (PS):
• Understanding the concept
• Comparing measurement methods
• ILP (Immediate Loading Probability): the new standard in PS measurement
• The impact of implant geometry on PS
• Surgical techniques for achieving PS
• Strategies for preserving or recovering PS
• Hands-on simulator exercises with ILP support
• Managing PS in post-extraction single implants and in multiple edentulous sites
• Resistance welding for creating frameworks in edentulous or terminal dentition arches
• Clinical case presentations and operator videos with discussion
• Practical welding exercises
In Modules 2 and 3, participants will master the conometric technique for fixed prostheticson implants-covering
everything from single units to bridges, with immediate loading.
The course also covers conometry on healed implants, enabling fixed prostheses in all materials.
As with any emerging technique, experience and peer discussions are essential for mastering the nuances that ensure success.
DAY 2 – Immediate Loading with Conometric Prosthetics – Single Units and Bridges
• The Conometric Concept
• Advantages of conometric retention: simplicity, precision, ease of removal, and maintenance
• The importance of prosthetic emergence profile to guide soft tissue healing
• Immediate loading in aesthetic zones: operational protocols and the scientific rationale, from single elements to bridges
• Conometric single crowns for immediate loading and healed implants: constructiontechniques using either analog or digital flow
• From provisional to definitive: construction techniques using analog and/or digitalimpressions
Practical exercises:
• Exercises with conometric components for single units
• Removal and activation of conometric bridgesIn
DAY 3 – Immediate Loading with Conometric Prosthetics – Full and Terminal Edentulism
• Decision-making for full or terminal edentulous patients
• Protocols for full edentulism with immediate loading
• Socket-fit (FP1) and hybrid (FP3) prostheses: choosing the right approach
• Provisional vs. definitive immediate prostheses: making the right choice
• When to use conometric vs. screw-retained prostheses
• Pre-surgical prosthetic shell: analog or digital, laboratory processes
• Creating multiple conometric restorations: analog and digital workflows
